Star Wars: Rogue One官方小说笔记
主要记下电影里没有的片段和人物的心理活动。写完了发现好长啊。
还有一见克伦尼克就有好心情。
Ch.1
克伦尼克去找盖伦后盖伦一开始说：
"And you have too little faith in your own skills", Galen said easily. "I told you that when we were practically children."
克伦尼克杀了莱拉后，盖伦就紧紧抱着妻子尸体嘛。于是克伦尼克就说“我答应你，我们会带她回家。”
"We'll bring her home," Krennic said, "I promise."
他这里心理活动太搞笑了：她射了我！我本来为了盖伦想放过她的！还想纪念他们之间的友谊或真情了blah blah了……
He'd tried to spare Lyra for Galen's own comfort, out of an understanding that genius worked best without distractions- and yes, out of a desire to honor the cordiality, if not friendship, he and Galen had once shared.
然后他又觉得很恼怒，因为两个人多年的关系就这样断了=L=
This irked Krennic - of course it irked him, to have the rapport of years so neatly dismiised - but he could use it.
但克伦尼克又很被自己所感动，毕竟除了他没有人会把莱拉的尸体带回家好好安葬：
Galen did not look away from Lyra's body (another gift from Krennic - who else would have brought her home for a proper funeral?).
"Your wife will be honored. We'll have the service as soon as we reach Coruscant...."
【我觉得丫精神上有问题，可能没有同理心，可能在感情上有所缺失。这自恋劲头……盖伦摊上他到底做了什么孽！可是好带感啊。】
卡西安杀了他那胖子线人后饱受罪恶感折磨，书中是这么描述的：
If he was lucky, it would even be enough to keep him from replaying - over and over in his head, on the long shuttle ride to safety - the last dying groan of the man he'd murdered.
琴在劳改营的室友是女的。她说要杀了琴。
Ch.2
菩提被索格雷拉手下抓了后一路上唠嗑的话中有一句电影里没有——I have a family。 怎么这么可爱啦！
卡西安问琴她最后一次见到盖伦是什么时候，琴回答15年前。这不是精确的时间（因为朋友说不知道是故意的还是bug，书里解释了是有意为之），因为她自己也不确定。
“Fifteen years ago,”she said. It was a guess, but close enough.
在听到盖伦派菩提去见索格雷拉之后，琴几近崩溃，本来就紧握双拳，指甲都把掌心掐出血。超心疼。
The hatch inside Jyn's mind shattered like baked clay.
The things inside the cave, damp and soiled by darkness, seeped unwelcome into her brain. Foreign thoughts spread like stains, obscuring everything else: My father is alive. My father is a traitor. My father is building a weapon to destroy worlds.
My father is a hero. My father is a coward. My father is a bastard.
Galen Erso is not my father. Galen Erso didn't raise me...
Her palms were bleeding where she'd dug in her fingernails. She wiped her hands on her hips, looked around the suddenly vertiginous room, barely heard Mothma say....
出发去杰达前，德拉文将军给卡西安密令，让他刺杀盖伦。卡西安认为这是对的，但并不像表面那么平静。
He was escorting a girl not much older than a teenager to see the father she had believed she'd lost. A girl who-genetics notwithstanding-had clearly inherited Saw Gerrera's burning rage and icy competence. The need in her eyes frightened Cassian.
Had the others seen it? Had he imagined it?
He wasn't sure what troubled him more: what he was doing to Jyn Erso, or what she would do to him if she ever learned the truth.
Ch. 3
克伦尼克面见塔金时候，内心简直就是弹幕满天飞好吗……最喜欢的是这句：
As if you speak with the Emperor's voice.
回到死星思考试射的对策和风险的时候：
Revealing the Death Star as impotent above Jedha carried substantial risk-it would be humiliating, as much for Tarkin as for Krennic. Yet Krennic had heard rumors that the Emperor's right hand-Darth Vader himself-kept Tarkin as a close ally.
Was it conceivable Tarkin sought to use Vader as a shield?
琴的梦中，克伦尼克和厄索夫妇谈论到Malpaz，探索到外环星域的“恐怖活动”。个人推测这个梦中的会面发生在Malpaz的爆炸之后。小说里她的梦比电影里长，先是克伦尼克和厄索家的聚会，切到了琴一个人在避难所，然后又回到了卧室，父女之间关于为什么要战争有一段对话，盖伦说Stardust, Dont ever change，然后吻了她的额头。之后琴说：
"I won't," she promised. Then, softer: "I love you, Papa. You're a good man."
后面塔金和克伦有一段通讯往来。塔金说教了一番，稍微总结下：
死星不仅仅是独立的军事力量，而是整个系统的一环；不是新科技的试验地，可靠才是最重要的；不是象征性的，主炮必须可以在短时间内反复发射。死星不是用于预防战争的，而是用于结束战争，结束战争的循环，维护和平。最后一段是最重要的，还是帖原文吧：
Are we of like minds now, Director? The Death Star is the ultimate weapon of war. It serves no other purpose. It is not a monument to your workers' scientific prowess or the cornerstone of a new navy designed to your personal ideal. Crude but functional is an acceptable watchword.
克伦尼克的回答就非常简短而耐人寻味了，他表示你能确认你所解释的未来是皇帝他老人家的意思吗？如果是的话我会努力超出他的期望。
Ch.4
在去杰达的飞机上，醒来后她又被回忆所折磨。
菩提被博加利特【】之后，看到了很多回忆。有他母亲在厨房里教她如何切蔬菜的回忆，她很难过可是他想不起来为什么。有他的老师和他相处的片段。有盖伦对他说的话，直接复制粘贴了：
Galen Erso, who looked not entirely unlike Misurno, telling Bodhi, "There is nothing brave about blind obedience. The simplest droid does what it's told-never questioning or deciding. If you want to know what we're building, Bodhi Rook, you could simply ask." And he hadn't asked, not then, not yet.
还有他的货船差点被义军（说实话这里不确定，只用了rebels）击落的可怕回忆。
琴在圣城差点和那两个撞了她的人打起来、但被卡西安阻止后，又满脑子都是父亲。
Without a distraction at hand her mind returned, unprompted, to an image of her father's face-a face nearly fifteen years out of date, but still the face of the man who'd abandoned her to serve the Empire.
反正只要没有东西去分散她注意力，她就忍不住会去想父亲和索。
索的手下找到琴和卡西安他们后，在琴说自己是盖伦女儿之前还有一段话。
关于杰达的朝圣者的档案
什么是他人的原力（the Force of Others）
这段我看疯了。大意就是……杰达是关联着各种形式的信仰、生命和他人的原力的纽带。每个到杰达的旅程都是一段朝圣之旅，有意无意地都是对信仰和表达和对真相的追寻。即便是来杰达的小偷，她的行为也和她的信仰和本质相符。也因此，人与人之间的信仰会冲突。
最后两句比较能解释他人的原力：
Through the Force and Jedha, they will act as they must, for good and will.
And we will know them by their actions there.
（反正我理解是，他人的原力与你同在大概就是一路平安吧不要碰到冲突。。。）
Ch.5
在去见索的路上卡西安内心冲突激烈。本来琴是去找索的工具而已，既然已经要见到他了，那琴的目的完成，which means she was now expendable.他觉得她内心的渴求和火焰让他无法置之不理。
被关在索的监狱里，奇鲁和卡西安对话后过了好几分钟卡西安才意识到他从未告诉过奇鲁自己是上尉。
在见索格雷拉之前：
For years, she had anticipated, fantasized about confronting him; picked hurtful words and braced herself for the wrath of the first, last, and only true warrior to stand against the Empire.
然后索一名女性部下和琴攀谈，以为见过她。琴就询问她曾经战友们还活着吗。全部死了。
看到索之前她想了很多，但看到他苍老的样子，她只想哭。
在从杰达撤军时，高层军官的个人穿梭机是最后一批走的。但开炮时帝国还剩下3%的兵力。
Ch.6
看到菩提后卡西安第一反应是这难道是索对他的囚犯的所作所为，他会不会这样对待琴。
琴在看父亲的holovid那里……盖伦的话要多一些，好心疼琴。
Ch.7
死星向杰达发射后，描述几位平民和未被撤离的帝国士兵此刻的日常和突然的死亡，包括被琴救下的女孩Pendra，他们一家正考虑离开杰达。几名白兵死前，他们的上司联系过他们，其中小队队长JN-093死前觉得自己对不起她的小队。
索格雷拉面对着大爆炸在想对策，在想琴怎么办。
Whatever had become of Jyn, she was still his. Still his best soldier.
Still his only family.
这时候琴仍然由于冲击过大而无法对外界做出反应。
He grasped her shoulder as tight as he could and spat her name.
"Jyn!" he cried.
"My daughter!"
Ch.8
卡西安和K2取得联系后K2的回复和电影里有点出入。
“There is no horizon. On a positive note, I may have found our planet killer.”
卡西安脑子里想着其实他只要把琴扔这里就好，但腿直接往琴和索那里跑。路上差点和一个提列克人打起来，最后从他那问到琴的位置，这才找到琴。
他见到琴的时候她仍然毫无反应，也对跪在她面前的索没有回应。卡西安仍然在想也许就把她扔这里，她只有一具空壳了……然后告诉她他知道盖伦在哪里，让她眼中重新有了生机。
菩提太可爱了，被卡西安他们救了之后跑驾驶舱去，他从来没见过U翼的驾驶舱。
Ch.9
继续克伦尼克的脑内弹幕。
问塔金他会不会向皇帝汇报后，他觉得自己语气太急躁了，然后就放缓语调说着毕竟是他老人家的洞见啊，同时心里在想我给你留面子了但你没办法否认我功绩了吧：
There. Enough for you to save face, but not enough to deny me credit.
然后塔金说哦我会向他汇报你总算弥补了你的过失了之类的，克伦尼克一边勉强地说谢谢一边心里骂他Condescending bastard.
义军部分从德拉文将军的视角稍微描写了下内部分歧。蒙莫思马想要从政治入手推动和平（他觉得甚至有点病态），Jan Dodonna将军（不知道译名）则选择隐蔽地出战以最大限度减少吸引帝国和议会的注意力的可能性，而贝尔奥加纳则一直在帝国做出暴行时加以介入。索格雷拉直接退出了，但义军同盟内部也有他的支持者。如果不是帝国，义军很可能从内部分崩离析。
克伦尼克去伊杜的路上：
Galen Erso.
Galen Erso, whom he'd given every chance. Galen Erso, whom he'd nearly died for once on that sad scrap of farmland.
"I thought we were past this, " Krennic murmured to himself, with a bitter simle. And his thumb dug into the screen of his datapad until the surface cracked and he began to bleed.
Ch.10
K-2曾经看到过卡西安看着爆能枪泪流满面，K2当时自愿抹去记忆，in case Cassian's "continued diginity and service demanded it".
Ch.11
菩提和卡西安上山时候菩提在念叨自己当初的伊杜的日子，包括他是怎么认识盖伦的：吃饭排队时候他问盖伦从哪个机器人那领吃的……
枪口对准盖伦又放下后的描写是：
He was tired of crimes he never answered for.
The Death Star is your answer. Finish this mission, and all is forgiven.
He looked at Galen Erso through his scope and saw his daughter's eyes.
Ch.12
奇鲁他们跟着琴上山时候：
Baze grunted in reply. It was an old habit, a way to assure Chirrut of his presence without words.
巴兹想对帝国基地开炮，被奇鲁阻止。
"Then why follow Jyn?" Baze asked.
He had allowed Chirrut to lead the way up the ridge. He had allowed Chirrut to lead him in many things, and learned long ago not to demand answers. But grief had turned all his lessons to tatters. Today was not a day for the evasions of a Guardian of the Whills.
Chirrut knew, of course.
So many years together, how could he not?
"Because she shines," Chirrut said, and placed a hand on Baze's shoulder.
菩提和K2把物资从坠毁的U翼中取出时，菩提很累，K2就问他要不要我扛你。 然后菩提说你得听我的，K2说我不相信你。菩提说你得相信我。卡西安改变了你（给你重新编程），你忠于他。盖伦改变了我。
"Cassian reprogrammed you, right? Maybe? You're loyal to him, I get that. Galen Erso reprogrammed me. We can still get this mission right, and we want the same thing, but you have to let me lead the way..."
去抢灰机的路上菩提还叮嘱K2如果交火，不要造成不必要的伤害。
在离开伊杜后，克伦在穿梭机上接到了爵爷的命令，让他去穆斯塔法。这里还强调了一句Ally of Wilhuff Tarkin<.<然后他注意到自己的制服有着血迹了黑印子，在想去见爵爷之前是否有机会弄干净，又觉得也许爵爷会尊敬见过战场的人。
这章最后是死星项目内部的通讯记录，最有趣的一点是：其他科学家给盖伦发信息时候用的称呼是“厄索”，盖伦给克伦尼克发信息时抬头是“总监”，而克伦尼克是用“盖伦”。
Ch.13
德拉文将军和莫思马之间耐人寻味的对话：
"Does that mean," he asked, careful to show no judgment, "that you're giving up on a political solution?"
"Never," Mothma said quietly. "But peace may be deferred a little longer."
【军人和政治家的区别XD】
然后莫思马决定召集同盟议会，讨论紧急对策。德拉文知道高层聚会并非好主意，因为如果此刻内部混入叛徒扔个手雷、或者泄露任何通讯都可以让同盟遭遇灭顶之灾，但事发突然，也没有更好的对策了。
关于琴，他们的对话：
"You really see something in her?"
"Fire," Mothma said, as if that explained anything.
克伦尼克看着穆斯塔法，在想死星能不能把一个星球变成这样。
关于爵爷克伦尼克浮想联翩：
他还想离间塔金和爵爷：如果一个来自纳布的议员可以拴住维达，那克伦尼克当然也可以。不管维达是要嘉奖还是惩罚他，他都可以钻进维达的小圈子，并破坏塔金和维达的联盟。
If a senator from Naboo could leash Vader, then surely Krennic could as well. Whether he was here for accolades or castigation, he could creep into Vader's inner circle and break the alliance between Vader and Tarkin.
克伦还在想难怪爵爷不健谈，你？？？？
爵爷停止原力锁喉后克伦尼克想起他曾经在军事会议上亲眼看到爵爷绞死军官。之后他自我催眠爵爷当时是用手捏住军官脖子的。
离开穆斯塔法时候他内心活动是：爵爷觉得他太重要所以不能杀，往远处想，皇帝也认可了他的价值。他阻止了塔金的欺上瞒下，而且还握着塔金最大的弱点：塔金必须为菩提的叛变负责。
然后爵爷那个管家过来对克伦说很少有人有幸得以在爵爷的圣地得到他的接见，希望他对所见到的保密。
在去雅文4的路上，琴曾想过复仇，炸了义军基地，埋了所有参与她父亲的谋杀的相关人员。但她最终放弃了这个想法。也想过逃离这一切。在乱糟糟的情绪中她睡着了，梦到索格雷拉和她的童年，梦到盖伦和死星，梦到克伦尼克处死她，梦到妈妈。她对妈妈说我不知道怎么办。
梦醒后她一直在哭泣。
Ch.14
到了义军基地后菩提向琴表示了对盖伦的哀悼。
蒙莫思马对琴说I wont forget what we did to you.
Ch.15
索格雷拉那句话原话：
One fighter with a sharp stick and nothing left to lose can take the day.
Ch.16
巴兹相信琴是因为奇鲁相信她，他永远相信奇鲁相信的人。
Those whom Chirrut trusted, Baze could find a reason to trust as well.
在马尔代夫时候他摸着沙滩的沙子在想杰达，然而杰达已经永远不会再回来了。
在到马尔代夫之前，克伦尼克又开始狂野的脑内幻想了。他觉得只要能消除盖伦的背叛所造成的后果，就可以赢得爵爷的同盟。有爵爷支持他，他就可以暴露塔金的无能。铲除了塔金，他就可以取得死星控制权，就可以和皇帝本人讨论死星该如何使用。
然后他就可以成为帝国最有权势的人了~
然而他也清楚一旦失败，死星就属于塔金了，于是他发出了非常琼瑶主人公的感慨：
Tarkin, Erso, Vader - how had so many men conspired against him for so long?
Ch.17
留下来保护菩提的是Tonc下士。他在去斯卡利夫的路上就一直在问菩提是否会用枪是否见过战斗，然后决定留在船上保护菩提。
Ch.18
战斗开始后，巴兹突然意识到好一会儿没看到奇鲁。 “如果他大喊奇鲁的名字，就会有一打枪瞄准他的方向。但如果他失去了奇鲁……”
If he yelled for the blind man now, a dozen guns would be aimed his way. But if he'd lost Chirrut...
然后听到奇鲁叫他，他摸回奇鲁身边，看到他身上又脏又乱但毫发无损，感到愤怒但又松了口气。
看到Walker过来时候巴兹在想Go, little sister. Go!
拉杜斯将军毅然参战的原因之一是，他的母星蒙卡拉是反抗帝国最前线的星球之一，如果不阻止帝国，蒙卡拉必然被毁灭。
Ch.19
K2在最后一秒，在脑中模拟了卡西安活着逃走的场景，尽管这是不可能的。他感到很开心。
With one second left until total shutdown, K-2SO chose to mentally simulate an impossible scenario in which Cassian Andor escaped alive.
The simulation pleased him.
Ch.20
奇鲁死前在想巴兹是如何穿越战场来到自己身边的。
But of course the Force had reunited them before the end.
对菩提的死亡的形容：
Like a pilot should ,he died with his ship.
巴兹意识到是菩提的船所在的九号停机坪爆炸了，不知道他有没有传出信息，不知道奇鲁的死是否失去了意义。
Once again, the Empire had stolen meaning from Baze. He might have screamed if not for the man he held.
Ch. 21
塔金知道档案库被入侵后，简直好奇克伦尼克要怎么解释了。
At last report, the data vault itself had been breached. It was a show of incompetence so great that Tarkin was almost curious to know how Krennic might explain it away.
Almost curious.
克伦尼克在去塔顶的时候在咀嚼琴的熟悉感，又后悔把他的护卫们都派去战场上了。此时他的部下通知他死星到达，以为是来对付义军舰队的，然而克伦尼克也想到了另一种可能性。
Ch.22
克伦尼克趴地上，试图回想在认识盖伦之前的记忆，一路追溯，发现自己的人生就是在追寻着盖伦。
Back still further, to the Futures Program, when he'd drawn Galen into his circle and recognized with wonder-not jealousy, but unadulterated wonder-the galaxy-changing potential of the man's genius.
And before then?
He could follow Galen Erso's thread through his life.
以下为他死前描写的随手翻译：
即便他会死在塔金手中，他也是死在自己的造物下。死星将长存。他想象着一个又一个的世界为他的空间站的力量所吞噬。即便是皇帝也无法在银河系上留下如此浓重的印记。死星，他的死星，将改变星系和文明，在塔金从银河历史中消失后，死星也会被铭记，直至千秋万代。

Orson Krennic, advanced weapons research director and father of the Death Star, died alone on Scarif, screaming in fury at Galen Erso, at Jyn Erso, at Wilhuff Tarkin, and at all the galaxy.
哈哈哈哈哈哈哈哈哈哈。
